Caroline Green has had a varied career in the last 18 years working with children with severe learning disabilities and neurological disorders. Caroline qualified as a Registered as a Nurse for people with Learning Disabilities in 2003 and is fully registered with the Nursing and midwifery Council. Caroline spent five years as an outreach nurse going into children and adolescents homes, school and respite services to undertake bespoke health, communication, functional behavioural and sensory assessments and develop person centred intervention plans to support children, adolescents and their families. Caroline has since worked as a specialist worker in a Child and Adolescent Mental health services with children and adolescents with a broad range of mental health conditions with 50% of her role dedicated to delivering specialist parenting groups including those for parents of children with ADHD, Autism and Adolescents who Self-Harm. Caroline is a qualified MBT-F therapist and systemic family practitioner with a Post Graduate Certificate and specialist training in treating families who have children and adolescents who have conduct disorders and depression.
