Yasmin Anderson

Yasmin studied psychology at an international university where she completed her Bachelor’s of Psychology with a minor in Forensic Science. However, her passion for children and young adults led her to further her studies and she went on to gain a distinction in her masters degree at the University of Greenwich where she studied Child and Adolescent Psychology. She has been working closely with children with special needs ever since.
Yasmin has experience working with young people with a range of disorders at different severities. Her primary focus has been autism but others include ADHD, Down syndrome, paediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and global developmental delay. She has also worked with young adults, focusing on mental health issues. This range of experience has been garnered in different educational settings such as mainstream schools, SEN schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs).
Yasmin is passionate about ensuring all her work and interactions are client-centered and ensuring individuals feel safe, heard and valued.

In her spare time Yasmin enjoys music, talking to friends and family and watching comedy TV.
